I run my RF-7ii, RC-64, and RS-52iis all from an XPA-5. Have had this set-up for about 2.5 years without any problems. I run a set of RB-6iis with an XPA-200. You of course could get an XPA-2 for the fronts and run the rest from the XPA-5. I'm not sure the extra power from the XPA-2 over the XPA-5 is worth it with the very efficient RF-7iis.

I would start with the xpa5 that way all your speakers get to experience the wonders of clean amplification. And really if you use more than 200 watts on those klipsch you'll be too deaf to hear the extra 1.5db that the xpa2 offers anyway.

This would be Ideal and I agree the XPA-2 would be overkill and probably not benefit you in any way. I owned the RF-7II's and the XPA-5 with these will make you very happy.

The xpa-5 will push out 200w into 5 channels all day long and not be a problem...but with such sensitive speakers you will be unlikely to have to push it anywhere near that.
Remember your speakers are rated at 101db at 1w at 1m away...90db is already pretty loud. 101 well that's almost 2 times as loud iirc. The xpa-5 will hardly get out of class A or break a sweat with those speakers.

Most here know my opinion on high power amps and high efficiency loudspeakers, but let me reiterate.
I currently use a UPA-5 and UPA-2 in my HT. 5 of the 7 speakers are Klipsch Heresy Models.
It is not a matter of wattage, but rather quality when evaluating an amplifier.
I ran a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls for 30 years with a huge number of different amplifiers. This included everything from a 13W triode unit to a 150W SAE to the last amp in that setup which was a 60W Bryston 2BLP. Hell, I DJed parties with a 50W SAE.
Through all this. I came up with my own magic formula for the Cornwall’s power needs which was that about 20W was needed for normal listening levels in the house.
OK, let’s take that as a baseline. The chart below shows speaker efficiency on the left and amp power on the right. Each step lowers the speaker efficiency by -3 dB and doubles the amp power to maintain the “magic” formula above.
dB W 100 20 97 40 94 80 91 160 88 320 85 640

I am a Klipsch guy and i understand that the RF-7's are extremely sensitive, but i have found that they are also power hungry. My setup differs slightly since i have an RC-7 and rear channels. I have tried several receivers at varying power and i believe if you want to hear those speakers open up and sound their best, you have to feed the beasts. Give them 200 wpc and you will never regret it!

I ran three fronts and two sides with six ksps-6 surrounds and the RF-7II's sounded o.k. with everything from tubes on up but the best is when I had 200 plus hooked to them.

Has anyone missed me??? OK folks, here it is,,,,,,,,,, I've owned a lesser set of Klipsch and have powered them with almost everything from a set of a AAA batteries to XPR-1s ,,,,,,,,,,,,now Wait for it!!!!!!!, guess which I preferred?
OK,,,,,I don't have all day!!!!!!
Ive found, in my humble opinion,,,,,,,,,,,that having more power will give you man handling, rag doll, shaking control of each driver in your speaker cabinets!! It's that simple.
I do do respect everyone else's ideas and opinions but for me in my room blah!, blah!, blah!! this was by far the most detailed and dynamic sound I've gotten from any speaker I've owned, but the Klipsch speakers became BEASTS when given " The Juice "
have I ever maxed out my amps? Simply put,,,,,,NO! I'm sure I never came close! Did the headroom and reserve power make a difference, I say simply,,,,,,,YES!
I now wait for the love to flow in my direction. Peace!
