I'm going to be in Nashville but might not be able to drive, so I'm looking for the best way to get to Emotiva HQ by public transport. Not exactly sure where I'll be staying in Nashville but I've googled a bus service that will get me to Williamson Square as the 91X Express. From there I have seen its about a 5-6km distance to Emotiva offices but not sure if there is any local transport. www.nashvillemta.org/maps/route91.pdfMaybe someone would come and pick me up perhaps, seeing as I have made the effort to come the 9800 odd miles, or I can easily cab it. I should mention that my wife is insisting I come with her while she has to attend a staff conference so I'm am willingly going with her as you can imagine...and I might get 2 solid days to spend as I like while she is stuck in the conference...and we all know what that is going to mean...probably an overnight or 2 in sunny Franklin with the boys and girls at Emotiva. While I'm in the area I would be interested to also meet any one who would care to entertain me with a home visit to see your setups or even catch up for a beer/coffee/ bite to drink.

Nobody have a plan for me to follow, or wanna catch up? I don't know enough about Franklin to help you out. Why not contact them and ask about public transportation from the square. I'm already taking a day off tomorrow or I'd look into the possibility of meeting up with you. When is the trip?

trip is probably 4-6 weeks away That's usually a tough time for us to get time off because May thru August is our busiest time of year. But I'll see how things look as the time gets closer.

Personally I'd just rent a car for a couple of days and get out and about Nashville and its environs.
Cheers Gary

I won't be driving. I think I've found a way and can't be too far to walk the last few 100 yards if that I hope. Maybe one of the Emotiva guys will come and get me...Ill call on the day if the next bus/trolley is a while away.

Well I made it HQ - by way of my wife having a free day (Monday) and drove me down there to say hi to the good folks at Emotiva. She even hung out in the 2 channel room for a couple of hours while I saw things I can't mention and did the tour, plus chewed some fat with Lonnie.
Heading back there later today to buy some trinkets to have on my birthday next week in NYC or maybe back in Guelph. Something to pair with my DC-1 and some BT speakers (3B's) - I would love to get more stuff but traveling 10,000 miles and spending 2.5 weeks away leaves one a bit strapped for space.
