Ask this question on a JBL forum and see what answers you get...
Both are very good products. I've never heard the JBL's but I've owned the AM6s and loved the sound - and hated looking at the drivers - if they had come with a grill I'd probably have kept them. The tweeter is very smooth and detailed. I wasn't as impressed with the bass but used with a sub it helped the bottom end.

The Airmotiv 6S are way better. I once had the JBL LSR 308, sold it after a month of use.

I always love these "which speaker is better" threads because there really is no right answer. If just one speaker was better than all others everyone would have the same one. A lot of people have both of these and are very well reviewed. I have both Emotiva and JBL and like them both. It's all about what YOU prefer. No one can answer for you....  |

I have both the JBL LSR305 and the Airmotiv 6.Both are very good. The AM6 has a bit more smoother treble and great sense of space in the treble. The midbass of my AM6 is not quite as tight as compared to the LSR305 since my AM6 ism quite close to the back wall.
