Hi, guys, on my computer sometimes it comes up as a 192 dac and sometimes a 384 dac...which one is it. Thanks Greg

No mention of 384 in the specs ...
* Three audiophile-quality components in one: USB DAC, digital preamp, and high-current headphone amplifier. * Full support for all standard sample rates up to 24/192 on all inputs. * Upgraded USB input now supports all standard sample rates including 88k and 176k.

It's not 384.

The MHZ displayed on the screen is the signal that is being input into the XDA-2, not the signal output. XDA2 is up to 192 only, no 88, but everything in between 44 and 192. When SRC is on (instead of Bypass), the incoming signal is resampled to 96 - synchronous I believe. This is my recollection from extensive reading of owner's manual. Hope this helps.
Edit - The highest rate out is 192, so assume 384 would be downsampled to that.

24 bit 192khz support is in the XDA-2.
