Finally someone adds tracking to drone tech with hands free capability.
I like it!

Pretty cool! I wonder if a skydiver could use it when making a jump.

Yep, I checked it out on cNet. At the $1,000.00 price point it should have obstacle avoidance incorporated. At a $500.00 price point OA is acceptable, but still, would be nice!
Cool toy!!

Imagine this becoming as common as selfies. Millions of tourists spamming the sky with their "dronies". Horrible thought I think personally. As a toy: very cool.

I'm seeing an awful lot of things they DON'T say..... Like how long it can fly on a charge..... And whether it can soft-land if the batteries run down..... And how long it takes to charge..... And how much it'll hurt if it hits you in the head..... I'm wondering (if they ever actually exist) how many will avoid getting eaten by the dog on their maiden flight.... they don't say how fast it can go...

Actually, they answer #'s 1 and 2 in the videos. It will fly 20 mins on a charge, and yes, it soft lands when batteries run low. It also sends a signal to the tracker before that so you can bring it back and have it land in your hand instead of in the boondocks. No answers to the last 2 tho.
