Hey guys
What are the best RCA analog interconnect cables that won't break the piggy bank? Mainly for going in between processor and amp for multi channel entertainment.

Blue Jeans make solid/realistically priced cables.
I have a set of 7 Blue Jean BJC LC-1 Multi-Channel Audio RCA cables; I've been meaning to put up for sale. PM me if you're interested.

My experience with Monoprice, which I no longer use, is that they are a hit or miss.

My experience with Monoprice, which I no longer use, is that they are a hit or miss. I bought a set of seven of their 'premium' 3' RCA cables a few years ago that were just too damned tight. So tight I thought one of them might damage one of my RCA jacks. I managed to loosen them up a bit using needle nose pliers. Other cables I've bought from them and Blue Jeans have been very good. Amazon has their own brand of cables now called Amazon-Basics - good price and the quality is fine. I've bought a few USB & HDMI cables and had no problems.

Like there is a best value one?? No one---- I repeat no one has tested all or even most-- Purchase a name brand
Here is a few of them that come to mind
Emotiva -value Blue Jean-value Audioquest Anti Cables-value Tara Voo Doo Kimber MIT, Nordost Cardas Van Den Hul Morrow Analysis Plus Straight Wire
You can spend what every you want . Personally I like Kimber Kable the best, Though I also use Emotiva, Analysis Plus, and Audioquest

The Emotiva X-series are very nicely made and sound very good. However, my Cables to Go Sonicwave were a tad better as they are silver plated OFC. The bass was better but that's about it. The Emo cables were better made IMO, just lacked the silver.

Before I decided to use all XLR cables, I too had a problem with the BlueJeans RCA interconnects being loose. It appears that the inside of the RCA fitting(only BlueJeans uses this from what I've experienced) that compresses to keep it snug against the female RCA input fitting weakens over time while the many other brands I've used don't use this. Just my observations/experiences with these RCA interconnects.

I've had good results with Emotiva, Kimber PBJ and Kimber Silver Streak RCAs (used with my tube gear). Prior to receiving my XMC-1, I had two Mogami XLR snakes custom made for me... a 2 channel and a 5 channel. I went with the snakes to cut down on cable clutter. They worked out rather well and to be honest, I did't hear any difference between the Mogami snakes and my previous RCAs.

Hmm, felt like I just had Deja' Vu on this one. Or was that the Mono Block Spirit haunting me. Any quality properly configured, well shielded cable works groovy.
But like wine, beer, and other things, most all have a taste preference, and some science behind it. I have been lucky, and so far from the miles of cables I have used, I have had no bad luck with any.
Now USB cables and such, that is a different experience. Everyone knows the popular ones, Monoprice, Blue Jean Cables. Some really good bargains all over, like that great cheap wine, or beer that forgot to be expensive, it tastes so good. Even Radio Shack Cables which I still have miles of it around somewhere still works great. So no real preference other than it needs to work. Yeah I know, and obvious condition there. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.
