Anyone out there using a tube amp in your HT/TV system?
Are you burning through output tubes?
Once in awhile i get to listen to music on my TV System. Sometimes is is just convenient. It flat out isn't as enjoyable as listening to my main rig. I'd like to pit a tube amp there, but am concerned that i'd burn through output tubes, the TV gets used multiple hours a day with our kids...
Since i like the "tube flavor" would it make more sense to get a tube dac or hybrid tube amp? The only hybrid i know of that is somewhat affordable is the Jolida. The Rogues are flat out too expensive.. If they were a grand less i may consider.
I have a Tube Buffer and guess i could put that back in, but it never wowed me.
