Went ahead and did it! Ordered a pair of new XPA-1Ls! Super excited to pair these up with my new SVS Prime towers that I will be receiving this week! Shout out to Pop for getting me hooked on this Emo kool-aid.  |

We are always happy to welcome new members to the Emotiva family, and to the Lounge. By choosing the XPA-1L's you automatically became a member of the Emotiva Secret Mono Block Society. Here's a few facts about Emotiva's secret mono block society that you may or may not know. The society is so secret that most of it's members don't even know where the secret societies secret headquarters is located. The emotiva secret mono block society is made up of members who are so secretive that they don't even know who they are, or what secrets they are keeping. One last thing, within the secret mono block society there exist a elite group of members known as the "illuminati". They are all around protecting the secret mono block societies secrets. You can rest assured that "What happens in the secret mono block society stays in the secret mono block society". Make sure you tell us how much you're enjoying your new equipment once you get it ok. j. |

congrats on your purchase, i have no doubt you will be happy. for everyone else i have a question, what is the distance between the speaker binding post on the 1L and is there some reason why on the XPA-1 & 1L that emotiva made the terminals so far apart? i guess if you want to buy pre-fab speaker cables you would have to make sure that the "speaker end" cables/connectors are at least a little longer than the distance apart of the amp terminals. that last part is something the OP should be thinking about unless he's going to "bare wire" the speakers on the amp end or is going to custom build his own cables.  |

We had talked about this particular issue a couple of days ago. Too bad his Audioquest Rocket88 don't appear that they will work. I'm going to let him borrow my Emotiva cables for the time being. Hello everybody!
Sorry I haven't been very vocal since I've got my amps, I've been too busy enjoying them! (And attending Secret monoblock society meetings)
I've been using Pop's UMC-1 he kindly let me borrow. But I went ahead and ordered my XMC-1 last week and I'm super excited!
I plan on uploading some pictures and giving a more in depth review of my experience with my Emotiva gear when I've had some time to play with the XMC. (spoiler alert, I'm loving the amps)
