The one I saw was not calibrated. I would be interested in seeing one that was. I'm a firm believer of the calibration of your TV, I wouldn't waist my money on a TV if it's not calibrated!! Why spend good money to have its abilities waisted by not putting them to full use. did I say that I'm a firm believer in TV calibration?,,,,,,,,,wait a second,,,,,,,,is there something in the Kool-Aid?There is no Kool-Aid involved with calibration. It's one of the few aspects of this hobby that is based in fact/science. There is a hard standard and your display can either adhere to it or it cannot. If it cannot, then it's to what degree that it is off the mark that one must weigh in judging whether or not a display is "bad." If a display can hit the standard, well, then, there is no debate really.

Thanks Andrew, I was referring to the repetitive posts that we've been saying, that's what's in the Kool-Aid, Calibration IS money well spent! Get it or forget it!

Well, my projector looks great even with lights on, and I'm using the eco mode, of course I use it with lights off, but just saying, and it's not even 4k, I mean 1080p is awesome on my 106 inch screen....

What are you going to watch on your new 4K tv? There aunt much out there... may never be much available Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, UHDnet (cable or Dish), and UHD blu-ray by Summer's end. Not to mention it can up-convert HD broadcasts/BD to UHD (Yikes, I just mentioned it)

It would be crazy to jump on a 4k tv with the limited things to watch right now... the prices will drop by the time there is enough things to watch.. there isn't much at all from cable companies. I work for comcast and comcast will have some 4k in 2016 but it will be limited... just like direct tvs huge "at least two 4K movies to watch instantly" lmao
