Hi y'all, purchased the Disney WOW Home Calibration 2 Disc Set for Blu-ray.
I first adjusted my TV the day I got it as best as I could and came pretty close to what I ended up with after using this kit.
A word of clarification first. I've been watching a calibrated TV for some time now, most people don't know what true colors look like, usually they have it way too bright, or as we call it torch mode.
So I had a pretty good eye to start with, as most of you know, the colors at the store are very much distorted. this kit did get me so much closer to the natural color, hue and brightness.
it takes time to go through all of the steps and there is the tendency to want to skip over the review of what each adjustment does but I'd still go the long way and sit through the tutorial the first time through.
i will repeat this setup again because of our own biological tendencies, rhythm and quirks. I do think after repeated setups I will be able to hone the picture to a much more accurate representation of colors.
Eventualy I will have it professionally calibrated because it will be my main theater and I know that having the correct tools and training will bring me the most accurate picture.
Any tips would be appreciated.

Call Gregg Loewen and get it calibrated He did an amazing job on my Panny plasma a few years ago. It still beats anything else I've ever seen.

The title leads me to think its an audio set-up disc. With Dirac I don't think it applies.,,,,,,,,,,, I do have plans for a pro calibration though. Thanks for the info, does it do video as well?
