I do, very good value for the money. Much better sounding than all Sumikos and Ortofon MCs in that price range.

It sounded good as I remember. But I personally have not tried all Ortofons or Sumikos in that price range. And I am impressed with anyone who has. I can say the little Blue Point Special #2 is one fine sounding cartridge by Sumiko. And it came as a package with my Pro-Ject because they are distributed by Sumiko. Both Ortofon and Sumiko have more offerings then Denon when it comes to cartridges.

Mind you this is 103 R, not that I've heard the 103 without the R, but 103R is supposed to sound significantly better. To me the 103R sounds clearly better than Blue Point Special EVO III Hi and the lower priced MCs from Ortofon. I'm assuming that the cheaper Sumikos does not sound better and for the few Ortofon MCs in that price range, I'd prefer the Denon 103R. Having said that, Ortofon have MM cartridges in that price range that in my opinion, sound better than the Denon 103R. I still have a Denon 103R on my Rega P3-24 and I think it sounds pretty good. However, my 6 PerspeX with Ortofon Kontrapunkt H and my new Xtension 10 with Ortofon Cadenza Black sounds way better. Can you tell I like Ortofon and Pro-Ject?

I do, very good value for the money. Much better sounding than all Sumikos and Ortofon MCs in that price range. My Ortofon MC-3 Turbo might have something to say about this Can't say that I have been fortunate enough to mount every single Sumiko and Ortofon offering but I had the Denon DL-110 before this one and the Ortofon is quite a bit better, though the Denon was a very good cart. Hope this helps

Hope this helps I've heard the MC-3 Turbo, it is good and probably much better than then DL-110, which I never heard. But the OP asked about 103R, which is another cartridge, and I maintain much better sounding cartridge, all IMHO. I noticed prices for the Ortofon Quintet Red & Blue are down so, they would also be worth considering. My Hifi-dealer is the importer of Ortofon, Pro-ject and Sumiko here, he was the one who recommended me the Denon 103R in the first place. He thinks the one need to get up to Sumiko Black Bird or Quintet Black before one get a better sounding cartridge from Ortofon or Sumiko. While he has no financial gain, on the contrary, in recommending a Denon cartridge over Ortofon or Sumiko, the advise can be taken as honest. Personally, I think his advise is a bit exaggerated but the 103R does offer a very good sound for your money.
