Firmware Re-Flashing. Help!

I posted earlier about no audio on my UMC-200. Spoke to tech support and they had me check the 5v power supply with a meter, checked out at 5.19v, which is supposed to be OK.

Since that checked out I was sent instructions to re-flash the firmware.  I followed the supplied instructions properly, but each time it gets to the last file, which seems to be the current version of the firmware, I get a message of "fail". the first three files are shown to be successful, but each time the fourth and final one fails.

Anyone have any advice on this? This is my first venture with trying this, I tried to search for help, but didn't have any luck.

Interesting update on this. As I was checking to make sure everything was correct file wise, I hit the Start on the file downloader, even without the UMC connected via USB, the first three files still showed a successful load, and the fourth again failed...

After spending two days trying to reflash the firmware, I have gotten nowhere. Every single time it fails to complete the loading process. I guess now I wait for Monday and a RMA # from Emo
