I use a Panasonic PT-AX100U projector that I bought used on eBay. It is is 720p and has one HDMI. It has a sufficiently powerful bulb to project on a huge screen and has extensive zoom range, which gives you flexibility on placement. They have an known issue with the iris sticking, which causes it to shut off after a few seconds of use, but you can fix this with some WD-40 and a little water color paint brush, and the fix lasts for six months of regular use. You can get them for cheap, which is nice if you tote it around for outdoor use (in case you drop it or somebody knocks if off the stand. I've been using a stereo receiver, a standard home audio powered sub, and home speakers, but I want to switch to powered PA speakers and a mixer (for the sake of convenience and because eventually something will get rained on, dropped, or knocked over). This is the screen I use: www.amazon.com/Visual-Apex-ProjectoScreen120HD-Portable-Projector/dp/B00G03V1UO/ref=dp_ob_title_ceThe screen snaps onto the frame, which is the most time consuming part of assembly. I have room to keep the screen on the frame, so I only take it apart for the winter. Otherwise, I just take off the legs to store it between uses. siggie

Anybody have any experience with using a tarp as a screen? www.gvtoolsandtarps.com/page/490867728I've been looking for an inexpensive screen. I was thinking of the 10' x 16'. I took my projector out and was using a sheet the last 2 nights. I couldn't believe how well it worked with just a sheet, but I want something much larger(obviously).

Well...I did a test last night with my HT1075 on a sheet(actually 2 king-sized sheets pinned together with clothes pins) to see if I could get a 9'×16'. I was blown away.I thought I was going to see a washed out picture but I didn't see any of that. I can't praise the BenQ enough. It is truly one of the best purchases I have ever made (I guess outside of the engagement ring...lol).
