Hi all, I've just sat down a bit ago to chime in with yall and play some tunes.
I seem to have a new problem.
im playing music from my Mac Mini via JRiver to my XMC-1 and on to my XPR-1s.
at +3 on my XMC-1 , it's reading 77 to 81 on my SPL meter, I've never ever had to turn it up this far to get db s.
and there's a new pop in between songs,,,,, WTFART is up with this?? Any clues folks??

Do a shutdown on the XMC-1 via power switch then via back panel and let it sit for a few minutes. Then turn it back on and see if this clears it.

Should have bought a PT-7030 I couldn't help it muhahahhaha No, I think those monoblocks don't have enough sustained power to play any louder. Shoulda bought a mighty XPA-2. AND a 7030. (I couldn't help it either...)

Turn up the J-river volume control. Also...you may be going deaf!!! What garbulky said. You may have cranked it to 11 one too many times and your hearing may be the culprit
