I have also the hissing problem like mann others... But changing from normal signal cabel to xlr cabels, the problem got Much less still a small hissing sound but noteceble less

Personally I found that two 20a dedicated circuits solved all of the hissing/hum/buzz that I minimally had before when using a shared circuit with other household items that cause induced interference in the shared line. Not to mention this should help with ground loops as well.

There has never been dead silent with my xpr-5..... And I have two 16 amp sircuts, and that is 220w. That is like two 32 amp in us!
