uac-8.2 and grills?

I finally got them installed but havent installed the grills yet. I like the way they look without the grills? is there a sonic disadvantage to not installing the grills? im using these as my rear surrounds but briefly hooked them up as fronts to see how they sounded. i was pretty impressed(and so was my wife). She asked if we were getting them on the main floot. i said doibful since i believe they ware being phased out and discontinued. i hope emo makes another model to replace them. they play a lot fuller than i would have thought.

I have never installed the grills back onto mine, I'm totally fine without them on and if anything the grills would make them sound worse rather than better but really might not be able to tell the difference.
