I would picture it being up to the task. I have a similar unit that houses my XPA-2 and heat is not a problem for me. I usually keep the glass door open a bit when it is on though just for ventilation.

It will not work unless you drill holes through the back plate so you can make connections ( XLR or RCA ) and for power on the amp. The XPR line is very deep over 19" and you need 3 to 4 inches extra to make all the necessary connections. You could, of course, put the amp on the very top of the cabinet. You will have a very hard time finding a non open back cabinet deep enough to accommodate your amp.
