Bonzo That was they guy! What a sweet setup! Mark No kidding. Really an awesome system. Beyond anything I could ever imagine. If memory serves he was still using 2 Krell monoblocks for the Maggy 20.7s the last time he checked in here, but the XPA-1's were for everything else. I wonder if he ever upgraded to the XPR series? One might think if he could afford $20,000+ speakers and all the other stuff that upgrading all of it with Emotiva priced gear shouldn't be a wallet breaker. But you never know.

How do we get one of these!?!?!?!?!? A matching RMC-1 would look lovely with it as well!!! Unicorns do exist!!! The big processor will be called the XMR-1. It's going to be 16-channel, hence you need one XPR-7, one XPR-5 and three XPR-1, the latter for LCR. Or three XPR-5. With the XMR being fully-balanced on all channels, Emo needs to develop a line of fully-balanced multichannel amps, else the sonic entire benefit of balanced circuitry is lost. I'll never be able to afford a stack of monoblocks, so my balanced amp options at this point are limited to Outlaw. I'm sure Emo is working on a new line of amps to mate with the XMR -- can someone who is in the know contact the company to learn more?

The dream of this amp is dead as well Im assuming!! The XPR-7 has existed for quite awhile now, just with a Sherbourn faceplate, ie: PA7-350.

Weren't equal to the R series amps IMHO. Especially the XPR-1s. I did have the opportunity to purchase a PA7-350 for $1,000.00 but didnt like the specs.

Even the XPR-2 doesn't have the specs of the XPR-1. That would be impossible. How do you cram multiple XPR-1 in one chassis? The Sherbourn was definitely identical to the XPR-7. XPR-7 specs in 2010

Was the lunar landing done on a sound stage? Are you " one " of them? ? ( see latest Monoblock thread )

I had reserved it and shortly changed my mind. After one of my forum friends had call and was told they were sold out, i PMed him and told him one had just come back up,,,,,,,,,,,he called and got it. Everybody was a winner!!! He is sworn to secrecy and must give me right of first refusal if he ever decides to sell it!! Edit; also, when you dont have the coin for extras, you just dont have it. I don't finance this hobby on time , that costs even more $$. But id gladly pay you someday if youll give me ,,,,,,,,oh!,,,nevermind,,,,,he,,,,he,,,he,,,,,

Or are you going for 9 channels total?

Or weather or not any added power for those speakers would make a significant difference for HT, unless of course its a concert series object based source.
