Does anyone have a suggestion on powered speakers to go along with my projector and screen for my outdoor movie/football games. I was thinking of pair of the airmotiv(not sure what size I need) Any other suggestions. My biggest desire is a quick and easy setup. I would like to spend no more that 400 or so because I only will use them a few times (8 or less) The sound does not have to be super loud because it will be at night time and don't want to irritate any neighbors.
Thanks

I've got a pair of 12" Pyle self-powered monitors (horn tweeters) for $50 plus shipping.

audioengine A5+ sound very very nice for what they are, if memory serves me right I believe that model clocks in around $500.00 for the pair

It looks like the Audioengine A5 is 399. If I went with Powered Monitors how would these compare to the factory renewed sale now of either the ASM-6 or ASM-5.
I was also looking at some DJ speakers Harbinger Vari V2112. 600 watts each with 12 inch driver at 150 a piece or Electro-Voice ZLX-12P with 12" driver with 1000 watts at 400 a piece.
I figure the DJ speakers might not sound as good but might be more durable.
Thoughts?

So the catch 22 here is while the dj speakers might ... or probably won't sound as good, this being outdoors and all... the extra power in theory helps. But you also said you don't want to irritate your neighbors. There is a review out there on the web, I read it some time ago about someone being quite impressed with the audio engine's outdoors... but I don't remember who wrote the review. I have heard the A5's numerous times and have always been quite impressed with how good they sound for what they are. My neighbor down the street who's house is a recording studio has a set to audition mixes.
