I have a bought one Sub Dude or something under my JL Audio Subwoofer. Can hear no difference. I guess if my listening room was not on my bottom floor there may be a difference

I have the same kind of thing for my NAS, took the foam from the package (already cut at the conveniently exact dimensions), a thin wooden layer and the NAS it atop that. This is to prevent the feet to slowly sink into the foam. No buzzing any more ;o)

May I say that a 24" rise for the sub can make a HUGE difference in the sound. Try moving the sub / platform slightly away from the wall.

I put sorbothane 2" high 1/2 balls under my sub and it made a huge difference. It shocked me how much better it sounded decoupled from the floor.

Uh oh we are talking about tweaks here. You know consensus here does not believe in anything we cannot measure(not me)

After some testing on heavy bass movies (Cloverfield and Godzilla 2014), I am happy to report that it does indeed work. I can hear less rattles in my house.
