I got a bad feeling about the lack of communication from Emotiva lately. I get a real feeling that this is a company in a financial strain. I hope I'm wrong since I haven't been following things since the beginning but there is a strong vibe of cost cutting as if in preparation for sale of the company or something worse. I sure hope not.

They're in a DIYD/DIYD situation. However I can't correlate a lack of communication here on the lounge with financial woes... otherwise they're all in trouble.. Onkyo, Sony, Yamaha... oh wait!  |

As to the status of Emotiva, they're expanding into retail, their products seem to be selling well & garnering positive reviews. I can't see them in financial trouble now (but what do I know). Since I know absolutely nothing, I'll do what every other journalist does when they don't have a clue - Make stuff up! LOL
Emotiva will communicate when they want to. In the mean time, patience is a virtue.
And I'm always so virtuous... (still LOL).

Probably Emotiva needs cash but what company doesnt, if you want to expand fast you need a lot of capital. If workers and executives are getting paid and the "profits" are going to grow the company, everything is good IMO
