Maybe in your neck of the woods but not in Philly. It’s what I do. I gotta back up novisnick on this. Hoagies are cold, grinders are oven broil-toasted. A sub is an underwater boat.  Also, a blimp is a Dirigible and a torpedo is a guided submerged explosive device fired by a submarine. 😎🤣😂 |

I was just referring to here in MAsshole/N.E. I realize it will be different all over the country........... and I believe it is. It's pretty much just sub/submarine with grinder trailing - Here
As an example if you order a ham and cheese you would say: ham and cheese sub with mayo, lettuce and tomato. The next question is (provided you did not specify): do you want it toasted?
same if you order a steak and cheese, same if you order a meatball sub or a roast beef sub, etc. I believe you are correct in your definitions. I'd guess no one under 50 around here has heard of a hoagie.

I hate to bash but some just down right deserve it! E-Bay seller MovieMars has been a go to for me for some years now. I’ve always been able to rely on them untill this weekend. They posted a product that was labeled as a 12” album and as a CD. I dropped them an inquiry as to which it was, this morning I received a reply that they didn’t know and couldn’t inspect because the warehouse was elsewhere. OK, fine I say to myself. In the reply they have a buy now button, I bypassed it thank God. They doubled the price, no lie! Double! WTF
Hard pass from any future purchases from them. You’ve been warned, again!

I just got home from seeing Joe Bonamassa at The Clay Center, Charleston, WV. Very enjoyable evening with Joe and the band playing blues rock. Reese Wynans on the keyboards. Great sound in the concert hall.

Just got back from seeing Ana Popovic at Ludlow's Garage, Cincinnati, Ohio. Great blues rock show. Ana was in good form on guitar with drums, keyboards, bass, sax, and trumpet. Nice small venue, 4th row. 😁
