Such a sad story:Β A friend of mine in our condo complex has a young 24yr old daughter.Β She is very nice, smart and friendly.Β About a year ago she noticed a small growth on her cheek (the one on her face).Β It suddenly began to grow very quickly.Β Since he knew my wife has had lung cancer and I have had skin cancer he asked if I thought it might possibly be cancer.Β The growth is now so huge she can't even put her glasses on straight.Β I told him I thought he should take her to see an oncologist ASAP if not sooner.Β He said he would right after Halloween as he wanted to take her trick or treating first. View Attachment What is really sad is that not one Lounge Lizard has laughed or given this a like.Β When I showed it to my alien wife she immediately got the humor (girl gets hit in the face by a play kick ball that knocks her glasses crooked.) and promptly fell on her futon laughing her γε°» (O shiri) off!Β So sad!Β OK, no more funny posts by me!Β I will strictly limit all future posts to completely 100% serious subjects. (Even though they might be posted in the humor or blurt it out section.)Β Β View AttachmentView AttachmentIf it's any consolation I think your post is hilarious. The red kick ball was a deadly weapon especially in gym class during dodge ball. There was always a kid crawled up in the fetal position at the far corner of the gym while others on the other side of the line were trying to take him out.Β He'd be postponing the inevitable start of a new game by refusing to engage in what is a true contact sport! Ya could hear the whooosshhhh of the balls moving near the speed of sound towards the tango as he be bombarded by red heavy artillery balls. The balls would bounce off some as they arched over in pain from the sting while trying to escape their own backs. They'd have the battle scars ~ red welts left as evidence as if the opposing team branded him.Β I use to cry in laughter during dodge ball.Β Kick ball was the same way. Pitch the ball real slow to the nerdy kids and everyone would move up. Ya'd take him out so hard running to first base fire discipline be established as they refused to kick the ball again next time round but strike out.Β Yes, those were the days! Thanks for the memory of the days when such balls existed, okay, now time to take my millennial estrogen pills.Β

Professional sports be much more enjoyable if played by A.I. robots. Given the price of most player's salary this might be very lucrative to replace them.

Hey Boys and Girls,
Just saw a report on TV about an amazing story which talks about unbelievable unprofessional and possibly criminal financial shenanigans with a huge foreign country by a famous American individual. Only problem is this story is being censored by Facebook and Twitter. Also the story is being ignored by every news group (newspaper and online network) with one exception TV network where I viewed this story. Censorship is alive and well in the USA.

We'll be moving early next year to an area about 15 miles from Ft. Hood, TX. Yesterday while we were at the site, we heard 3 huge BOOMS!! Artillery practice at Ft. Hood. Shook the ground & our chests. Loved it. Want more..... I was stationed at Hood for my last few months after returning from Viet Nam. Nothing like the sound of tanks & artillery!! π 2 of the sweetest sounds in the world to infantry are choppers & artillery.. π Choppers are a common sight, especially around our house. The property directly behind us is Ft. Hood helicopter maneuver training grounds. Can it get any better than helicopters and artillery??!!

A lot of you may have gotten lots of rain and wind from the latest hurricane. My thoughts go out to my friends in Louisiana as they have endured way more storms this year than anyone deserves. BUT while you got rain and wind we got 6 inches of heavy wet snow with winds. Half the trees still have their leaves. The snow should all be gone by Sunday evening. I hope so as my snowblower is still in the shed.

Yep! Itβs STILL 2020! Hope everything ends up OK. Wonβt be any flooding from the snow melt. π

I was in Vietnam, Jan - Dec 1969, the peak of the war. The hooch where I lived in a very large post was close to two separate large military hospitals. There was never a time, day or night, that the sound of an incoming medivac Huey chopper was not present. Unfortunately that was not a pleasant sound, more injured soldiers. However, in the field, the sound of a Huey (or Cobra) gunship could be a lifesaving sound for our troops! We also had the big AC-130 gunship, known as an AC-47. It was a big plane with mounted mini guns (6 barrel, 7.62mm, Gatling type guns). It was known as Spooky or Puff the Magic Dragon. One night Charlie attempted to attack the post thru our area of defense. Puff showed up and none of them got thru the barbed wire fences. There were red tracer rounds and from 1000 feet or so it appeared like Puff was peeing red on Charlie. About several thousand rounds per minute. 250 or so VC had no chance, a suicide mission for them. That sound of the mini gun is a sound you never forget. Charlie might be familiar with all of this above, but perhaps interesting for other Lounge Lizards.

I was there 69-70, 101st Infantry. I thought about the medivacs when I posted. Medivac was a double edged sword. Sweet sound to the wounded to get them out but also meant more wounded or worse, dead. Watched & heard many bombings and a few Puff engagements also. For us, it was always relief. Interesting how awesome our weapons were. Not so much for Charlie!!

Someone request an AC-130 Specter Gunship? Your video was from the ground perspective here's one from the air six miles out w/ special imaging! Action begins 3 minutes 40 seconds into the video. Ya can hear the crew in the video "popping flares" as they're being locked onto by SAMs. "Hey Buddy!" Someone is on the ground calling in these shots!

Just curious, ever work w/ AirForce special forces, "Combat Control" also known as the "Holy Ghost"? Combat Controllers: "Assigned to Special Tactics Squadrons and Special Tactics Teams along with Pararescuemen, Special Operations Reconnaissance, and Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) operators, Combat Controllers are an integral part of Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), the Air Force component of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Trained in underwater and maritime operations, freefall parachuting, and many other deployment methods, Combat Controllers are often assigned individually or as a team to Army Special Forces, Army Ranger, Navy SEAL, and Delta Force to provide expert airfield seizure, airstrike control, and communications capabilities."

10-31-2020 ..... The United States military conducted a successful operation to rescue an American hostage in Nigeria, kidnapped just 96 hours earlier. United States Special Forces executed a daring nighttime operation to rescue their fellow American, Philip Walton, with exceptional skill, precision, and bravery. No United States Service Members were harmed. The former hostage is currently in good health and has been reunited with his family. The elite SEAL Team Six carried out the rescue mission and killed all but one of the captors.
