Transition to 4K in my theater is progressing well... 1) new 86" 4K arrived, mounted, and working well! 2) new cables for Roku to XMC-2, 4K BluRay player to XMC-2, and XMC-2 to 4K TV...arrived! 3) new Panasonic 4K BluRay player...arrived! (and connected - works nicely and the LG magic remote automatically programmed itself for the player!) 4) new cables to do reference stereo with sub...arrived! 5) XMC-1 returned to Emotiva...arrived to them yesterday! 6) DIRAC kit for XMC-2...arrived!
All that awaits is my new XMC-2 to be shipped and arrive.
Mark

You folks who think love never dies never meant my first wife! "I'm Looking Through You" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1965 album Rubber Soul. It was written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney. McCartney wrote the song about English actress Jane Asher, his girlfriend for much of the 1960s,[2] and her refusal to give up her stage career and focus on his needs.[3] The line "You don't look different, but you have changed" reflects his dissatisfaction with their relationship. The lyrics also refer to his changing emotional state: " Love has a nasty habit of disappearing overnight".

Apple finally gets its head out of its exhaust port. The new M1 ARM processor is killer. I have a buddy with the new Mini M1 and it is amazing. I want an M1 too. I am so excited that finally Apple dumps the Intel load! Intel has not impressed me in years. They kind of suck! Your mileage may vary. I am doing well with a Ryzen 7 8 core and it rocks. Next year i will get a Mini M1 too as my bedroom editor. Crazy after all these years, Apple wins me back! I am not leaving Windows. My iPhone 12 Pro Max says I am beginning to go all in. Apple for me is holding all the Aces. Now for the next gen M2x and more, my video editing and audio editing may go full Apple at some point. I had started back in 2006. Disenchanted I left in 2009. So it took 11 years, but I am back in the Apple camp as long as Tim and others at Apple don't do the Stupid Dance.

I'm curious to see what would happen connecting a pair of xpr-1's to a crappy pc speakers and turn the volume all the way up.... Or better yet hang the biggest baddest subwoofer from a meat hook and then plug it directly into a wall outlet......... 110 volts at 60 hz is how many watts ..... 1800 watts at 15 amps? Inquiring minds want to know and see for themselves what would happen!

Food For Some Deep Thought:
...... Our Solar System consists of our star (the Sun), and its orbiting planets (including Earth), along with numerous moons, asteroids, comet material, rocks, and dust.
..... Our Sun is just one star among the hundreds of billions of stars in our Milky Way Galaxy.
..... There as many as six billion Earth-like planets in our galaxy.
..... There are as many as two trillion (2,000,000,000,000) galaxies (modern estimate) in the universe
..... Scientists have discovered the GN-z11 galaxy which seems to be the farthest detectable galaxy from Earth.
..... GN-z11 is about 134,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kilometers (13.4 billion light-years) from Earth.
Sometimes I wonder and seriously doubt what I was taught in school and church, that this entire universe much larger than we can even begin to comprehend, is really in existence with us as the only residents?
