Hey Guys,
I am strongly considering a pair or 2 of UAW-8.2s for surrounds and maybe rear surrounds for a bonus room we have. With sales final I do have a couple of questions that would be great to get some help on though before I take the plunge...
1. Is there going to be a problem putting the Surround Left in a side exterior wall if the surround Right is in an interior wall? (Does the insulation in the cavity mess with the sound at all) (Room diagram is attached)
2. Is my room too shallow to take advantage of 7.1? We have the room set this way to get the most seating area out of it and I dont want to create weird effects for people sitting off towards the side. I was also considering possibly going 6.1 to help that some but really im not upset staying with 5.1.
3. is there a safe distance that the side speakers need to be away from the back wall to avoid strange reflections?
