I am just getting around to adding a new Subwoofer to my system (XPA-2>XSP-1>ERC-3>TEAC SACD). Adding a new speaker setup as well...Wharfedale Diamond 10.7's and Wharefdale 10.GX Sub.
Considering that my main left/right speakers are full range 30hz-24khz. I want to run my Sub with my speakers but keep my speakers set on "Full range". What would be the best setup for the XSP-1?
Thanks

You can do both. I suggesting try both. I reccomend setting your XSP-1 dial at about 60 to 80 hz cross over and let the sub take it from there. I have a feeling this will get you a nice result. 80HZ is about 12 o clock setting on the XSP-1. It's not 9 o clock like you may think If you do full range, you then have to adjust the subwoofer's crossover and gain to blend it in.
