I have two EPM-300 Modules that no longer have a home. Does anyone know if it is possible to use them as a stand alone 300 watt amp? It has a standard power socket but I do not know what the gold contacts do at the top of the module. I know they are for mating to the chassis but I was wondering id they are NEEDED for operation of the module? anyone know?

Yes they will work as stand alone amps but you have to be cautious using them without a case as not to touch anything and get shocked.

There was some threads on this but I think the were part a purge that the lounge went through some time back. I can't remember what the modules look like but when I had a mps-1 I know I tried the Amp module by its self and it works.
