For me I have it set on Tone Bypass so 0 and 0. But I do experiment from time to time depending on how the recording was mixed if it doesn't sound quite to my liking.

For my Main Multichannel Surround system: Bass = 0 Treble = 0
* And for my separate 2-channel stereo system (no sub): Bass = +1 db Treble = -1.5 db
*** I got three more systems, but only one of them with: Bass = +1 db Treble = -2 db
And the others set both at 0 db for both Bass & Treble.
~~~ Each CD disc, LP, SACD, DVD, DVD-Audio, HD DVD, Blu-ray, MP3 formats, etc. goes to a certain system for best reproduction with all the right audio adjustments. I like to be organized by ordination.
