I just hooked up my PC (Windows 10) to the Oppo via HDMI. I set the Oppo audio to HDMI: Bitstream. Playing wav. files via Windows Media Player. Should I change any settings in the computer?
Am I using the Oppo DAC or WMP's? If I'm not using the Oppo DAC, is there any way to configure it so I do?
I'm confused (and cheap) do I need JRiver?

TIA, G HDMI does not transmit analog signals so if the Oppo is working for you with an HDMI connection then the Oppo DAC is in play unless you further pass the signal from the Oppo via HDMI to a processor in which case the processor would be doing the digital to analog conversion. |

Thanks geebo. The HP is going to the Oppo via Hdmi. The Oppo goes into the USP 1 via L/R analog out.
