Anyone know why Emotiva is getting rid of the XPA-1L and what is coming to replace it?

"We’re making room in our lineup for exciting new products, and as a result of that, the following Emotiva products are discontinued."

Hello there...It looks like Emotiva's Fall sale has begun for it's partners (see below)...Does anyone know when it may filter down to the Emotva Website? I am looking to make a couple purchases!
From "Hi-Fi Heaven": (sorry no HTML) Emotiva XPA-2 Stereo Power Amplifier
0 reviews / Write a review Brand: Emotiva Product Code: XPA-2
Free Lifetime Technical Assistance
$719.00
$899.00 Qty Add to Cart Request Trade-In Price
By the way I am VERY new here but not to the world of a budget audiophile! So if someone could be so kind and tell me how to start my own thread here I won't have to "jump" someone's post>>>>Argh!

I called and asked Emotiva and they said the partner accidently let the cat out of the bag too early...So the website price has changed but the google ad is still up! if you google Emotiva XPA-2 it will come up in the (R) ad space....Looks like were 2 weeks out!

One of the problems of having distributors. Price war between them can be another problem because it can affect the brand. They will need to have strict control on MAP

Welcome to our/your home for great audio gear, toss in a bunch of intelligent friends and many a novis, all with the same dream of audio Nirvana and you end up with a bunch of nuts like us! Lots to learn here and share! I really like the part in your post that says, " Free Liftime Technical Assistance ", theres more then enough of that on this forum. I do think you need xxxx # of posts before you can start a thread,,,,,,,,,but what do I know! Once again, Welcome! Have your first drink of Emo Koolaid on me,,,,,, Edit; Try going to Home at the left top, then scroll down to General and pick a topic. After selecting topic, the next page should have Create Thread in the top right hand corner. good luck

I started out in this 'hobby' when tubes were the standard. I put up with having to trudge off to the local electronics store (Radio Shack) when my Sansui 500A receiver with 19 tubes decided to go on the fritz. Each 'trudge' cost me $3-6 depending on the tube - going through all my tubes one at a time at the tester was tedious - I hated tubes then and haven't changed my mind about them. I had to replace one of the output tubes (7189 IIRC) one time and it convinced me that if I could ever afford solid state gear I would never go back to tubes. Those were $15 each back then! Back when my hourly pay was $2.90 hr. Today those 7189A tubes are worth a few oz of silver - matched pairs are gold prices! I've yet to break that vow - I doubt I ever will unless its a nice 5 tube kitchen table tube radio. And I've yet to see one that entices me. Sangean makes a nice one - its transistor powered. So does Tivoli.

I have 3 XPA-1L's in my 7.1 theater today and am seriously contemplating selling my XPA-5 Gen 2 and ordering 4 more XPA-1L's in its place.
I love my XPA-1L's
I have several items sitting around that I could sell to nearly offset the cost giving me class A to all speakers at lower volumes, tons of flexibility, and tons of power.
XPA-5 Gen 2 UPA-700 UPA-200 6 sets of NIB UAW 6.2
