Emotiva XDA-1 with UMC-200

I asked this question in another thread but never got an answer. I was wondering if the XDA-1 gen 1 would be an improvement for 2ch listening over my UMC-200? Does anyone in the Lounge have this or a similar setup that could offer any advice on the subject? 

There's a gen1 XDA-1 for sale near me and I've been debating purchasing it. The asking price is $150can with remote, no warranty. Is this a reasonable price?

Just a thought but the XDA-2 is on sale brand new for $199 and it's bigger brother the DC-1 is on sale brand new for $399 thanks to the holiday sale right now. To answer your question, I would consider buying a new unit on sale at those prices. Neither piece for those prices should disappoint you. I think $149 for a used XDA-1 wouldn't be a great value. Just my opinion. YMMV
