Man, I really want those fan units. Look perfect for what I need. Once I purchased the first one, I knew no other would operate and look so good!! I was/am hooked. I have 5 of them in service, anytime one comes up for sale I have to control myself. the push or pull air in any direction you like, even have ports in the back for tubing to run the heat out of the room. If Emotiva could produce them at a reasonable price I don't believe they could keep them in stock!!

I think I can build a hood for a normal fan unit, but really don't want to do through that trouble and would always exhaust out the front. Can you give a hint on a price range you paid for your 5? Thanks! Is $125 + $30 shipping sound crazy for one in just OK condition? Do any of them have anodized aluminum fronts? Personally I think thats a little high for an OK unit.
Not sure what a just ok unit is but it also depends on how badly you want one.
They don't just blow air over the unit, it can also suck the air through your amp/AVR whatever, thats how I have mine set up. And then blows it out the front.

Thanks! I finally found a decent alternative, but it isn't cheap: activethermal.com/cool-stack%20series.htmlFor me, I think using a 1U unit makes sense as I'm using a single large rack. I want to put a 1U fan assembly that exhausts out the front, then a 1U Middle Atlantic vent panel on top of that. Then since I'm stacking XPR's, the one just above has a 1U vent to suck air through. I found this for ya, fromt glamor shot. Attachments:
