I was reading about the XLR outputs on the Marantz 8802, and they say they use the European method (1-GND, 2-HOT, 3-COLD) as opposed to the American method (1-GND, 2-COLD, 3-HOT). Does anyone know what method the XPA-1 uses for its XLR input? In short, would it be necessary to modify the XLR cables to link the XPA-1 to the Marantz? AV8802 BALANCED XLR PRE OUT connector PIN arrangement Thank you.

When I did a general google search on Emotiva XLR pins the results were Pin #1 = Ground. Pin #2 = Positive. Pin #3 = Negative. I am sure someone here knows for sure.
