The problem is absent from my other one. I swapped power & xlr cables and it sill only does it on the one.
What could be causing this?

If it's a single soft pop, then it's not unusual. One of my XPA-1Ls does the same thing. A slight DC offset that probably goes away once the electronics warm up.
It it's a pop followed by a farting noise, then a capacitor is leaking DC. Get that fixed.
To avoid the noise, just leave the thing on - doesn't hurt anything & consumes virtually no power at idle.

I used to leave them on but out of nowhere it started to do the repetitive bass/fart noise.

If they're under warranty, call Service. If not, do the same. Repetitive pops = leaky capacitor most of the time.
