Is anybody using Airmotiv speakers with a TV?
I have a TV in the living room we use for casual viewing. I'm using a soundbar, and it's OK.
But I just purchased a pair of Airmotiv S4's for my small office, and my wife and I were amazed by the quality.
I don't have an AVR in my living room - I'd just be feeding the stereo from my TV to the Airmotiv speakers.
Thanks for your advice.

The fact that you can just feed them a line level input from a TV is why they are perfect for the job.

Agreed.
I'd also bet that the Airmotiv's are built better, have better quality and larger drivers. It's no surprise you'd feel that the results are better.

Plug them into the headphones output, that should do it, plus it should disable the internal speakers.

Not using the Airmotiv's but I do have a pair of JBL LSR 305 powered monitors hooked up to our LG LCD in our bedroom. I have them going through a Emotiva XDA - 2. They sound very Sweet!! A huge improvement from the TV speakers.

I found straight from tv without preamp for the Airmotiv's does not work well with their gain. I think you will need some kind of preamp to help with voltage from tv to speakers.
