Does anybody know if the XMC-1 Remote codes for Vol+ and Vol- are used by any other device by any other manufacturer?
I'm asking because I would love to control my XMC-1 volume by using my DirecTV remote. However, DirecTV doesn't have the XMC-1 in their IR code database, but they have hundreds of other devices (including 7 other Emotiva devices).
Thanks!

I don't know if the DirecTV remote can be programmed by "teaching" it codes. If it has learn capability, this would be an option.

Have you tried the, 7 other Emotiva, devices that you mention? At some point, I thought I read on the Lounge that the UMC-1 might also have the same volume control.

Unfortunately, none of the other Emotiva devices' volume codes worked.
