I received a pair of Airmotiv 4S four days ago. When I hooked them up, one of them was making a loud hum sound. The sound only occurs on one of the speakers, and only when an RCA cable is connected or if I touch the RCA input with my finger. I can't get the other speaker to make any type of hum under any circumstances. This leads me to believe it is a mechanical problem with the electronics in the speaker..possibly the RCA input jack is not grounded properly? Other thoughts? Was really looking forward to using these things.

Check to make sure the RCAs fit tightly. If they are loose they can induce hum (especially on turntables). If they are not tight, I take a pair of pliers and gently squeeze the outer part of the RCA until the fit is snug.

I've swapped RCA cables, swapped power cables, power outlets, physical speaker position etc. Must be an internal issue. I'm on the phone with support right now so I'll probably just RMA the speaker and hope the new one works good.
