I know these are not out yet, but I was hoping someone with the company could answer. I am in the market for new speakers to upgrade my current front channels. They are currently Focal Chorus 716v towers. I was originally looking to buy something used like a Focal Aria or a Bowers CM-10. These speakers retail for 4k but can be found used around 2500. When I first saw the emotiva speakers I was excited, but then the price of 349 each scared me. I previously have built my own bookshelf speakers with a single driver and small planar. These cost me over 200 dollars before building the cabinet. It makes me wonder about the quality of the Airmotiv t1 speakers. Not that I don't like a good deal. But I just am curious if they will be an upgrade to what I have? Or if they will be comparable quality wise to the focal aria or bowers cm10? I know they are much more expensive but I also know Emotiva generally release better per dollar value items. Does anyone have any info on this?

Does anyone have any info on this? 1. I'm not with the company 2. I haven't heard them so I have no opinion 3. Your best bet would be to wait, patience is a virtue ;-) 4. I posted the following link in another topic which is a brief "review" from folks at the AVS forum, who stopped in at the Emotiva booth at CES 2016. They were quite impressed at first blush with the T1's (and all the others)... read and see, but you still have to wait until Emo releases them to give them a try (maybe 2nd quarter?) 5. Obviously there is a world of speakers out there, and certainly in the $2K range... Tekton Pendragon's currently on sale for $2000 - just looked!
