I gave up on 4k streaming long ago after I got threats from my cable company that I was abusing bandwidth. I'm not paying $80+ dollars a month to stream shows in 4 k. The issue with 4k Blu-ray is content availability and cost. I don't want to pay $29 a movie period. I just purchased the hobbit extended edition and the video is top notch on my Sony 4 k TV. My Sony does a fantastic job in upconverting my Blu-ray. No wonder sony was lackluster about 4k Blu-ray.
