Not sure why the pics look like this but these are my Great Grandmothers old tube radio retrofit with some inwall speakers and a tpa 3116 amp and Bluetooth receiver. We use this with our tablets and phones for tunes in the living room. The black one is a Abletec Alc180 Amp module in a Dalaudio retro case and a B&O asx125 ICE Amp in an old pioneer Amp case that's on the bench to be completed.

Really cool looking! Years ago when I was about 10, I had an old amp and a cool old wooden box with a hinged lid. I took the amp's guts out of its case and modified the wooden box so the amp could be inside. I liked it because I could open the lid and see all the guts!
I wish I still had that!

Thanks Mark following your N-core build really helped nudge me towards trying to build something myself. They have some B&O ice modules on sale at partsexpress that I may go pick up this week and see what some higher power monoblocks sound like. I will post some pics if I get it done this week.

Picked up the ICE 250asp modules at parts express and for $98 they sound real nice! Now I have to find some cases or one large case I like.
