I currently employ an ERC-2 and an OPPO 103D for my digital sources (which I enjoy)...Is there any advantage to going to an XDA-2 Gen 2 for use as a DAC I will not use the headphone amp at all? As for personal taste I have to say I am more of a soundstage guy VS a total resolution kind of guy if that help you understand what type of listening...I use my Sherbourn 7030 in bypass mode with two XPA 2 gen 2's bridged.
Thanks!

I would look at the DC-1, given your preferences.

Is the DC-1 an Emotiva product?

Yes it is. Below is a copy of the first paragraph describing the Stealth DC-1:
"The Reference-Quality Differential DAC Now, reference-quality performance is available at a price that won’t break your budget. Emotiva Pro’s all-new Stealth DC-1 provides an accurate, transparent window on your work, coupled with exceptional convenience features that make it the ideal preamp and control center for your analog and digital workflow."
