When I click on Dirac and open it I get a VERY loud thump from my sub's , so loud that it tripped my XPA2. This is what I have tried so far. Changed xlr to rca , changed xlr and rca cables did not help. Adjusted all gains as low as I could. Did several power off reboots, saved my settings to usb and did a factory reset. Unplugged all cables from xmc to xpa (no thump) figure it has to be in the xmc somehow. I have tried using mono and dual mono for subs and it did not help. I ran Dirac from a clean slate and still get thump?? The only way I have been able to get it to a very soft thump, is setting it as dual mono but only using the left sub output on the xmc to xpa. The other weird thing, using anything but dual mono I get almost no output to the subs?? Going to call Emotiva this week and try and get some help. Have I got something set wrong?? Had my xmc for a while and think I have a good working knowledge of the settings. One other weird thing, when I did get Dirac up and running, at the main screen with no sound the first meter light on my xpa2 on both channels is slightly flickering like it is getting a very small signal?

When you "click on Dirac" in your computer to make a run?

I get a nasty pop when dirac connects to the xmc. I leave ny amps off and then turn them on after Dirac has made its connection. Not ideal but avoids issues.

When you "click on Dirac" in your computer to make a run? Yes I click on it and about 2 sec after the main screen comes up LOUD THUMP!! I think that it does the same to everyone, but I never found this exaggerated or dangerous for the loudspeakers or the sub, I suspect that the volume level of your sub is little bit higher, habitually for the majority of subs you should keep it around 30 to 40 %.

Yeah, mine does it, too. Just ignore it.
