Hello,
My name is Silviu and i am new on this forum. I have two Emotiva XPA-1 and am i very happy with them for the last 2 years. Recently i moved my audio sistem in a new house in a country area. One of the xpa start to have a problem, after 30-40 minutes of working the sound goes off. If i turn off and back on, the audio relay switch sound ok, but after the last relay the sound is still of. I let the xpa off for 10 minutes and the sound comes on again. After another 10-15 minutes the sound goes off again. Only one of them have this proplem. I noticed that i have some power fluctuation and i bought a power stabilizer with servo motor. It could be power fluctuation the issue, or it has a problem?
Thank you.

Do you hear clicking or the lights turning on and off on the amplifier front plate? It could be that your wires are slightly damaged (The RCA or XLR) or your speaker wires are accidentally touching one another or shorting. But there's the likelihood that you have bigger problems and it may need servicing. The XPA-1 in class A mode requires a decent amount of power to function. Something like 320 watts continous per amp I think just for idling. So if your power stablizier is not rated for that you may have some issues.

I started with the cables, i changed them, but it makes the same. The stabilizer is 5000va/3000w. I think is enough for both of them.
When i pres the start buton, it makes 3 click, the leds bright all and after last click, only firts led bright blue. Everyting looks normal but the sound is still off.
I never had any problems with them, i hope that it is not something serious.
