Dirac full on the Mac is the most frustrating program I have ever used! Acknowledged the XMC-1 just fine a day ago and today no matter what I do today, the XMC-1 might as well not even exist. The XMC-1 iOS remote apps find the unit just fine. The Dirac program has no intentions of connecting to the unit even though everything is correct. Restarted the computer, XMC-1 and router with no solution in sight. Maybe the moon is in the wrong spot in the sky and the bird is standing on the wrong power line outside. Who else has continual problems with the app and figured out how to make it work? What version of OS X are you using? I am using the latest update of OS X El Capitan.

Is the help section of the program missing on your Dirac for Mac? Is it just retracted to the right side? I always hide mine that way to get more screen room for the program. The Help section is there and I can close it to make more room in the app but the actual help area has no text or instructions. It was the same way with both Dirac LE and Dirac Full.

What version of OS X are you using? I am using the latest update of OS X El Capitan. Try something for me. Under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall > Firewall is set to Off. See if that changes anything.

Dirac is still dead on the XMC-1 so I sent an email off to Dirac to see what they say.

Dirac responded back and they have no idea why the XMC-1 keeps destroying the center image after Dirac sends the filters to it or why the Help tab has no text in it.
The XMC-1 decided that today was a good day to start connecting to the Dirac software on my computer again so I will fight with it some more.

Try closing it in a bit.
