Well, I said goodbye to my beloved XMC-1 this weekend. When I was packing it up, it reminded me of all the great memories we had together I got upgraditis to try Atmos and got tired of waiting (18 months) for Control4 drivers to be developed for it so decided to flip it for something else. Still, wanted to commend the Emotiva folks for designing such a nice piece of gear for the price.

A 113" Monitor?!?!
I see WHY something like ATMOS (and DTS X I would think) is on your plate.
If that's your bag, then you need the gear that goes with it.
What did you replace the XMC with?

Hi Bill, I replaced with the new Anthem AVM-60... Will see how it performs but I have had success with prior Anthem processors in the past so fingers crossed. I like that it also comes preloaded with Control4 IP drivers.

Looking forward to it. Please don't forget. When I replace my current processor my choices are the Xmc or AVM 60.

I've been on a processor spree the past few months; in my opinion the XMC stacks up quite well to more expensive one like the Krell Foundation and Anthem D2v.
