Hi all, has anybody heard those add ons that are supposed to bounce the sound off the ceiling? Are ceiling speakers better suited for the effect?

I've read quite a bit about this... and I've seen mixed reviews. Some say they prefer the wide dispersion that bounced gives, but my understanding is that the whole "object model" design of Atmos is that that directly down-firing speakers was the intention, so my guess is that 4 ceiling speakers would allow for steering the sound better.
I've only heard a 7.2.2 Atmos system, and I was underwhelmed.

Isn't that what Bose speakers do? To bounce sound off things? ☺

The 901's certainly did! And it creates broad, but inaccurate soundstage.
