Xsp-1 vs dc-1?

I am very happy with my xmc-1 and use it for my cinema in tha basement.
but i have a 2.0 stereo in my livingroom and was thinking about xsp-1, but will a dc-1 do the same job?
i only need one optical to conect with rest of my gear.....
so what is best of the two?

If all you need is an optical input (which the XSP-1 cannot offer you) and have no need for analog bass management or a phono preamp, the DC-1 is the logical choice. It's an excellent DAC with superb analog stages to support it. Given your criteria, it all you'll need.
