Hi Guys,
I just finished moving into a new home, and have been re-setting up the audio system. During the move I finally pulled the trigger on an EF9500 from LG and have been trying to set it up with ARC for the XMC-1. However I cannot seem to get it to work no matter what I do. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions?
My current config is the following:
On the XMC-1 I have the HDMI cable plugged into HDMI Out 1, and that cable going into HDMI input 2 on the TV (this input is marked as the ARC input.
On the TV I have the sound setting set to ARC and Optical (one setting, cannot just set to ARC).
The XMC-1 does not seem to switch to ARC automatically, but even when I select it as an input manually nothing happens. HDMI CEC is disabled on my XMC-1, though I tried enabling it and nothing seems to happen. Thanks guys for your help. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
