Did the ERC-3 price recently go up or was it on sale before? I've been considering it since early this year. I could've sworn it was listed recently at $399 whereas now it shows up at $499.

I've had good luck with purchasing on eBay from jadedesign too.
I just figured I'd mention the Emotiva connection in case someone didn't already know.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Saw that one through Jade. Dismissed it due to the warranty. About to replace a second Marantz unit that managed to give up a couple months out of warranty.

1 year is too little of warranty. My erc-2 broke twice in the 2 years that i had it

I was tempted to grab a few different items from Jade on eBay but decided it was not worth if because of the short warranty period. I made offers on one item based on that and none of them were accepted. |

I know it might not be the build quality of Emotiva but it will also play my SACD's. I've had really great results with my 103D. |

Wonder if Emotiva will ever include Bluray and SACD in a future unit to make an excellent all in one player. I don't want two disc spinners taking up space in my cabinet.
