From what I understand, "High Speed" with or without ethernet will handle what HDMI 2.0/4K products have to offer. So if it is labeled "High Speed", you are covered.

Yep you don't need to pay high price for high speed. But quality shielding and the certification is great to have in your HDMI cables.

What do the experts have to say, is it worth buying Audioquest expensive HDMI cables? From what I've read no its not worth it. I was looking at the Cinnamon line.

You'd spend substantially less and be getting the same performance with the Emotiva Z-HDMI cables. emotiva.com/collections/clearance/products/zhdmi

Unfortunately the Emotiva Z-HDMI cables are too short. The longest is 2 meters and I need 3m. But that answers my question. The Audioquest cables are not worth buying.

www.hdmi.org/The above link is IMHO, the best place to go for current info regarding HDMI specs. The need to upgrade those cables (or not) simply depends on which components the end user is integrating. Bill

Hey All, Sorry to bump an old thread but I wanted to ask about this HDMI cable, emotiva.com/collections/accessories/products/zhdmiI bought one on the sale simply because I really like the looks of it. I typically run Blue Jeans HDMI cables with no issues. So I hooked up the Emotiva cable today, and my system didn't like it. The picture would flash on and off as if it was having a hand shake issue. I put my Blue Jeans cable back in and everything was fine. Are these cables actually certified "Premium HDMI Cable"? I don't see it in the specs, so I guess not, which is probably why they're on clearance and didn't work in my system. Thanks justin

Thanks justin No they aren't certified "Premium", but they are certified "High Speed". I do find it interesting as I use the 1m & 2m Z-HDMI cables for full-bandwidth, 4K@60/12bit/4:2:2, with no problems on any of my 4K sources. Maybe you got a bad cable?

The source I was trying it with was an Oppo UDP-203 to the Marantz AV7704 to the TV. It's the only one I tried. I'm not that worried about it because it was on clearance and I bought it only for looks.
